About

I believe a wedding dress should be more than something you wear for a single day.
It should be a reflection of who you are, created with intention, care, and a deep respect for craftsmanship.

I’m Sarah Foy and I founded Sarah Foy Couture with a desire to offer a more personal, meaningful approach to bridal. One where every bride feels seen, heard, and beautifully represented in what she wears.

My love of design began long before my career. As a child, I was endlessly creating—cutting up curtains to make dresses, completely captivated by how fabric could transform not just how something looked, but how it made you feel. That passion led me to train at the Grafton Academy, and ultimately to build a business centred around creativity, connection, and individuality.

For me, designing a wedding dress is not just about the finished piece—it’s about the journey. I take the time to truly understand you: your personality, your story, your wedding, and how you want to feel on the day. From there, we create something entirely your own. A piece that fits beautifully, reflects your essence, and allows your confidence to shine through.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating one-of-a-kind pieces that are made to last. I believe in a slower, more thoughtful approach to bridal—where dresses are crafted with care, not mass-produced, and where quality and longevity matter. Each gown is designed and made with intention, using carefully sourced fabrics and a process that honours both the craft and the wearer.

As an Irish designer, I am deeply passionate about building a sustainable bridal brand rooted in creativity, integrity, and connection. My vision is to create pieces that are not only worn on your wedding day, but treasured for years to come—modern heirlooms that hold meaning, memory, and story.

To have your dress made for you is a truly special experience—often once in a lifetime. It’s a collaboration, a creative journey, and a moment to celebrate who you are.

It is a privilege to be part of that.
